Charlotte & Mark

East Quay Wedding Venue | Whitstable

Charlotte & Mark held their reception at Blean Church in Kent before moving on to the famous East Quay Wedding Venue in Whitstable for their reception. I started the day by photographing Charlotte and her bridal party getting ready at the Marine Hotel in Tankerton. Just after noon Charlotte then headed to the church in a vintage VW campervan where Mark was waiting at the alter. The ceremony was full of love and laughter and once the newlyweds walked back down the aisle and the guests moved outside I captured some great shots of everyone throwing confetti as they made their way along to greet their family and friends. We all then headed back to Whitstable where the guests were drinking champagne and downing local oysters (with tabasco sauce) on the pebbled beach. The meal on the menu was Great British Fish & Chips and Beef Wellington and after everyone had finished the bestman broke out a hilarious speech which Mark equally found hilarious. Charlotte & Mark joined me outside for a late evening portrait session on the beach and around the beach huts where we were blessed with some soft late summer coastal light. The day for me finished around 830pm where I photographed the first dance and the first few songs from the DJ. Another beautiful wedding from the top Kent wedding venue.

James photographed our wedding and did a fantastic job of getting all of the shots we wanted plus a whole bunch of really fantastic natural shots which tell a great story of the day! He was professional throughout without being invasive and both us and our guests think the photos are great! Would highly recommend! Thanks James. Charlotte and Mark
