Hasselblad Xpan

The Hasselblad Xpan, released in 1998 as an ambitious partnership between Fuji and Hasselblad is a 35mm dual format, rangefinder film camera. It’s capable of shooting in standard 3:2 and also the 24x65mm panoramic mode. The 24x65mm format is close to the CinemaScope aspect ratio that wide screen movies are shot in and when you pair the camera up with some 35mm motion picture film like Kodak Vision or Fuji Eterna, in my opinion there is no camera that has ever been produced that can quite match the cinematic look that the Xpan produces. Check out below a selection of some of my favourite XPan photographs I have taken over the past 24x months.
