Chloe and Matt got married at the quirky East Quay Wedding Venue on a hot summers day in Whitstable, Kent. I started the day out by photographing Chloe, her family & bridesmaids getting ready at the nearby Continental Hotel before moving on to get a few shots of Matt, his bestmen and ushers having a few pre wedding beers at the Quayside Pub close to the venue. We all then headed along to the East Quay Wedding Venue a short while after in preparation for the ceremony which was held on the top floor overlooking the pebbled beaches of Whitstable Bay. Chloe arrived with her father in a convertible Mercedes and the ceremony got under way at 130pm. An emotional ceremony throughout, I managed to get some great photos of Matt waiting in anticipation for Chloe to walk down the aisle. After the ceremony the whole wedding party made their way on to the beach to enjoy some champagne before sitting down for some freshly caught local fish and chips. Matt had 3 x bestmen on the day, each who gave their own unique and hilarious speeches of experiences through their years of knowing Matt. Later in the evening Chloe, Matt & I went for a walk around the beach surrounding the venue and I got some alternative portrait shots with the colourful beach huts and turquoise ocean as a back drop. I finished the day by photographing the first dance back inside the venue around 830pm. An all-around beautiful day at one of my favourite Kent wedding venues.
