Hi i’m James and i’m a UK based Destination Wedding Photographer with natural, fly-on-the-wall, reportage style. If you are planning a wedding abroad and are looking for a UK based wedding photographer to book for your destination wedding then i'd love to hear from you. I will fly out to your destination a day in advance, photograph your wedding day in my natural & creative style for up to 12x hours (including an intimate portrait shoot and all group photos), fly back out and will then have your fully edited album of approximately 500x images sent back to you on a shareable & downloadable Pixieset cloud link within 21x days of returning. Booking me as your UK based wedding photographer for your ceremony abroad will give you with the confidence that you're hiring a wedding professional that will not only capture your day in the natural & creative style you want, it also means we can meet beforehand to get to know each other and go over the photography plans to make sure everything runs seamlessly on the day. All of my destination wedding photography packages include the following:
World wide coverage with up to 12 hours of photography service on the day
Supply of approximately 500x high resolution, carefully edited and stylishly colour graded images on a beautiful Pixieset digital album link that is both shareable and downloadable. All images are supplied in their highest resolution as JPEG files (around 24mp). Printed A3 and A4 fine art albums can be purchased as an extra.
Your own relaxed & intimate portrait session on the day + all formal family and group shots
a copyright license to print and distribute your images to your friends and family
Your final digital album back to you within 21x days
flights, 2x nights accommodation & car hire (if required) are included in your full quotation

To secure your date a 50% deposit of the agreed quote is required together with a signed/returned contract. The remaining balance is due upon exchange of the photographs (approx 21 days) after the wedding. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN SHOOTING WEDDINGS AND WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE?
2019 will be my 7th year shooting as a wedding photographer with over 175x weddings shot in total.
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes! I'm fully ensured for public liability and professional indemnity.
CAN WE MEET YOU BEFORE TO DISCUSS YOUR SERVICES?
Most definitely! I'd love to meet you to hear about your wedding plans. London is a great place to meet however if meeting in person is difficult then we can arrange a Facetime or Skype session.
OUR WEDDING IS ABROAD AND IS OUT OF THE WAY IN THE HILLS? WILL YOU BE OK TO TRAVEL?
No matter how far out your destination wedding is located, whether it be in the sticks, up in a mountain town or even in a large overseas city I will be fine reaching you. Over the last ten years I have travelled extensively across Europe, Asia & the USA , driving across bumpy, chaotic & often dangerous roads to get where I need to be. The key to successful travel is preparation...and also a good GPS unit. All you need to do is let me know the specific locations of the venues for your wedding day and i'll be there to photograph your day without any fuss.
WHO PAYS FOR YOUR FLIGHTS & ACCOMMODATION TO OUR DESTINATION WEDDING?
You will be required to pay for my return flights to the venue & 2x basic nights accommodation which includes the day before the wedding and the wedding day itself. I will then fly back home the following day. If required you will also need to pay for car rental.
HOW DO WE BOOK YOU TO BE OUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?
If you would like to go ahead with your destination wedding photography quote then to secure your date a 50% deposit of the agreed photography price is required together with the return of my signed contract. The remaining balance is due upon exchange of the photographs (approx 21x days) after the wedding. Part of this deposit will be used to pay for my flights and accommodation ASAP.
HOW DO WE RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?
On a beautiful Pixieset digital album link that is both shareable and downloadable. All images are supplied in their highest resolution as JPEG files (around 24mp). Printed A3 and A4 fine art albums can be purchased as an extra..
CAN YOU SHOW US A WEDDING IN ITS ENTIRETY FROM START TO FINISH?
Yes! The portfolios on this website are just a few of my favourite images from the day so if you would like to view a full days wedding portfolio just ask and i'll send over a digital album so you can view it on your desktop, tablet or mobile device.
WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?
Approximately 21 x days after your wedding day.
YOU HAVE A NATURAL STYLE BUT WE ALSO WANT FORMAL GROUP PHOTO'S OF OUR FAMILY & FRIENDS ON THE DAY. IS THIS POSSIBLE?
Yes! All i require is a list of all the staged formal photos you require and we can work through these photos on the day. I usually allocate 30 minutes or so for these photos later in the afternoon at the reception venue.
DO WE GET HIGH RESOLUTION & COPYRIGHT FREE IMAGES OF OUR DAY?
Yes! All images I supply you with are in their highest resolution and you will also own the copyright (alongside with myself) of all the images I supply you with so no hidden extra costs at the end.
CAN YOU SUPPLY A PRINTED WEDDING ALBUM?
Yes! I can supply as an extra a beautiful 50x side A3 layflat fine art wedding album (designed by myself) for £395. A4 is £295. For more info please just ask.
WHAT CAMERA EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
I use the latest Sony A9’s (x2) with a 35mm 1.4 lens and an 85mm 1.4 lens (one on each shoulder). The best wedding camera equipment on the market IMO. I also have a backup Canon 5D mark 4 and various lenses.
