Jen & Satish

Marleybrook House | Kent

Jen & Satish held their wedding at Marleybrook House which is a lovely kent wedding venue located just outside of the medieval city of Canterbury. I started the day by photographing Je getting ready n in the bridal suite at Marleybrook House before driving to meet up with Siatish who was ready and waiting with his bestman and family at the St Thomas Of Canterbury in the centre of the city. Jen arrived just before two 2pm in a beautiful classic car and she walked into the church arm in arm with her father. After the ceremony everyone headed back to Marleybrook House for drinks & canopies in the garden and a few group shots. The wedding breakfast was held in the marquee next to the house and was shortly followed by a series of speeches. As the sun began to set I took Jen & Satish off to a wooded area of the surroundings and we snapped some stunning ethereal portrait shots as the golden light lit up the tree’s and pond. It was then time to join in the fun with the guests at the vintage fair ground which was located just a stones throw from the house. As the last of the light went we all went back into the marquee for the cake cutting & first dance and to finish the day off a spectacular firework display shot up into the night sky as Jen, Satish and all the guests watched on.

I cannot recommend James enough. We couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos. James was so organised and responsive right from the outset and made us feel so at ease. Picking a photographer wasn’t easy as there are so many out there to choose from. We chose James as his photos were natural and from his portfolio he seemed to capture what we fell in love about our wedding venue. Since making that decision we have been nothing but delighted with the incredibly personable but professional experience we have received and such amazing quality of the photos. James went out of his way to discuss with us what we wanted for our day and he worked hard the entire day ( almost 12 hours!) With his relaxed approach it was easy to be natural in front of the camera as you barely knew it was there and he quickly felt like part of the wedding party. The shot of me and dad at the altar is one I will treasure forever. Thank you James for such a truly wonderful experience and the incredible capturing of so many incredible memories. Jen & Satish
