Jo & Daniel are a beautiful couple from London who held their destination wedding in Puglia, Italy at the prestigious Il Trappetello Wedding Venue. I flew out a day before the wedding to Bari and headed 60x miles south down the coast to the small town of Monopoli where I stayed the evening. I set off around midday the next day and photographed Jo, her Mum and her bridesmaides getting ready at a beautiful contemporary house south of the venue which was decorated with green cactus and white walls. I stayed with Jo for 1 1/2 hours and headed onto Il Trappetello at around 4pm to photograph Dan and his groomsmen getting ready in the wedding suite. The ceremony took place in the early evening under some beautiful soft light. After the ceremony we took some group shots and headed out into the countryside for a relaxed portrait shoot as the sun was going down. We headed back to the venue once we had got our shots and Jo and Dan were announced to the guests. As Jo and Dan finished their entrance dance all the guests hoisted Jo onto a chair and Dan onto a sheet which was being held up by his friends (check out the crazy pictures below). After the wedding breakfast the speeches got underway and Dan surprised Jo by singing an amazing heartfelt song he had written himself. It was then time to party to a bit of UK Garage and house music.

We flew James out for our Italian destination wedding and I am so happy that he was a part of our big day. He manages to capture emotion exceptionally well, is reasonably priced and also is a true professional. Jo & Dan.
