Viktor & Steven Charlton Park Wedding-72.jpg

Charlton Park & Mansion | Canterbury

iktor & Steven got married on a warm summers day at Charlton Park which is a kent wedding venue in Bishopsbourne, Canterbury. Charlton Park is a grade 2 listed country home that is set within over 100 acres of classical English parkland just outside the city of Canterbury in Kent. I started the day by photographing Viktor & Steven together at the stylish Falstaff Hotel in Canterbury city centre before travelling onto Charlton Park in a double decker bus. The ceremony took part in the stunning main hall room where Viktor & Stephen walked down the aisle together and exchanged vows. After the ceremony everyone headed out to the front of the house to congratulate the newlyweds and relax with some Pimms and canopies. Later into the day I headed into the wooded area of the estate with Viktor & Steven to capture some intimate portrait shots whilst the sun was setting over the surrounding countryside. After the shoot we headed back to the front of the house where a number of guests were playing cricket, croquet & table tennis and just as the sun dipped below the horizon we all headed back inside for the first dance.

Choosing the right photographer for our wedding was much harder task than expected. We wished for natural looking pictures capturing real moments and that's what we ultimately received! James was very unobtrusive and all our friends and family were pleased how he managed to exactly capture the feel of the day and emotions. We too were very happy with the final pictures and how quickly James managed to deliver them to us! He mentioned it will take up to two weeks but emailed us with the final set of pictures only 6 days after the wedding! We very much recommend James for any events you might have. You won't be disappointed! Viktor & Stephen
